About
Faaro was founded by workforce technology veterans who bring over 20 years of experience building the systems that organisations actually run on.
Our founding team co-founded Australia's first enterprise workforce management platform—software that was later acquired and became the foundation of systems still running in organisations today.
Our journey took us from Integrated Workforce Solutions through PayGroup and ultimately to Deel—now a global leader in HR and payroll—giving us deep exposure to workforce compliance across multiple jurisdictions. We've led technology innovation and business automation at major workforce management providers, building operational DNA that still runs those organisations.
Our core insight—the one that drives everything Faaro does—is this: compliance failures aren't system failures. They're governance failures.
Systems work fine in isolation. Problems happen in the gaps—when data moves between tools, when nobody's watching the handoff, when institutional knowledge walks out the door with departing staff.
That's why Faaro doesn't just connect systems. We add the governance layer that makes the whole stack work—and keeps working when things change.
The Difference
We didn't just implement workforce systems—we built them. The platforms many organisations still run on today started with code our team wrote. That's a different level of understanding.
Beyond software, we designed the business processes behind those systems. We know how organisations actually operate—the workflows, the exceptions, the real-world messiness that software vendors don't see.
Two decades of building and maintaining workforce systems means knowing exactly where integrations fail, where data gets lost, and where compliance gaps emerge. That operational DNA isn't replicable.
When legacy systems are decommissioned, institutional knowledge typically disappears. We hold the expertise that walked out the door—and can preserve it for organisations facing the same transitions.
The Name
/FAH-ro/
The name Faaro carries an intentional echo of "Pharaoh"—ancient leaders who built systems and infrastructure that endured for millennia.
This reflects the company's mission: building workforce infrastructure that lasts. Not trendy point solutions that get replaced in three years. Not shiny demos that fall apart in production. Infrastructure that organisations can depend on.
The name is distinctive, premium, and internationally resonant—standing for expertise, endurance, and the kind of deep domain knowledge that only comes from decades in the industry.
Philosophy
We don't sell a platform that tries to do everything. We connect specialist tools that do their jobs well—with the governance layer that makes them work together.
Your existing systems represent real investment. We don't ask you to rip and replace. We add the connective tissue that makes your stack whole.
Compliance isn't a feature you turn on. It's baked into how systems connect, how data flows, and how decisions get made and recorded.
Systems change. Vendors get acquired. Software gets decommissioned. Your compliance history and operational data should survive all of it.
Fixed implementation fee. Per-employee scaling. No surprise invoices. No consultant lock-in. We succeed when you succeed, not when projects drag on.
Workforce technology isn't generic IT. Awards, credentials, compliance obligations, operational patterns—deep domain expertise is what turns a connection into a solution.
